About Caroline

Caroline Guterl is a holistic therapist, conversationalist, and founder of Coming Home to Us; a therapeutic atelier and creative wellness studio.

Her work bridges the gap between clinical psychology and the deeper, often unspoken layers of human experience, exploring attachment, emotional safety, identity, and the physiological and energetic patterns that shape our lives, as well as the cultural, historical, and sociological contexts that underscore how we experience life.

She is especially attuned to working with highly sensitive and perceptive individuals — those who experience the world deeply, think non-linearly, and often hold both intensity and insight at once. Her work honors this as intelligence, not dysfunction, offering pathways into regulation, self-trust, and joyful expression.

With a background in therapy, clinical research, and spiritual studies, she’s become known for creating intimate, honest spaces through 1:1 sessions and community experiences.

Those in her orbit understand that nothing stays in the shadows for long, and that something magical happens when we decide that the task of getting uncomfortable leads to an integrated and full life.

She is known for her ability to make conversations feel both grounding and expansive — where depth and authenticity are found in the things we don't want to acknowledge out of fear, but which offer profound opportunities for liberation.

Becoming a facilitator of this work is something I strongly believe I was born into.

Since i was a little girl i have had an affinity for helping others through presence, deep empathy and love, and as I have matured; intuition.

It has been both a privilege and a responsibility to hold this type of light, while also navigating my own journey of unfolding and breaking and coming back together again.

Therapy, to me, is intended to be an ongoing corrective experience. Which is why I believe it has to be relational. Human. Soul-oriented. It has to reach the marrow of self-acceptance where there is no hierarchy or rules. We just are.

Despite the trainings, degrees, and licenses, identifying as a psychotherapist was never really the goal.

The goal was always people. change. expansion. excitement. movement. expression.

and a lot of healing in a world that has seen so much suffering.

This profession has given me the privilege of witnessing extraordinary human beings over the years. Those relationships became the foundation for creating a container that could hold the multidimensionality of my clients.

I created Coming Home To Us over and over again—

In an equal pursuit to support my clients, contribute to collective healing, and continue understanding myself. Because I believe these things are inextricably linked.

And I had yet to find a space that brought together irreverence, creativity, culture, spirituality, and clinical application into one arena.

And i'm not a fan of gaps.
